God Sent His Son!…
For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:17 (HCSB)
Note from Kip…
Listen to the news media spin events and attempt to warp bad things into trivial events; good things to aberrations of subversion. I think most people have come to understand that what you see and hear may not be representative of the truth.
Satan does the same thing, so perhaps this is easier to understand for folks today than years ago.
What the devil would seek to do is paint faith in Jesus as submission to restriction and limitation. He want you to believe that its about rules and restrictions to your freedom and independence. If you surrender to Christ, you resign yourself to a hollow existence as a brainwashed drone.
But what placing our trust in Jesus Christ really means is grasping the freedom and liberation that Grace affords. Liberation for sin. Assurance that no matter what lay across the path ahead that this ‘Good Shepherd’ is there and has it all under control. There is nothing that Jesus wouldn’t do for those He loves; that’s not speculation, it is a proven track record.
Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1 (HCSB)
The creator of this world loves us so, that He was willing to not only forgive us before He spoke the universe into existence, He determined that He would accept our punishment for our sin Himself.
Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus,, because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
Romans 8:1-2 (HCSB)
All so that we might be free. Free to live in His Grace and Love. Free to reflect the intent of the one who created us. No ‘Condemnation‘! Instead, Salvation and freedom for all who would trust in Him.
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32 (HCSB)
The enemy tries to paint a completely different picture, but the truth is; God sent His Son to save us, not to condemn. No spin, just His Grace and Love!
Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24 (HCSB)
From ancient times no one has heard, no one has listened, no eye has seen any God except You, who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him.
Isaiah 64:4 (HCSB)
Let your father and mother have joy, and let her who gave birth to you rejoice.
My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.
Proverbs 23:25-26 (HCSB)
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast.
For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (HCSB)
For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; He will guide them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Revelation 7:17 (HCSB)
Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (HCSB)
But now, since you have been liberated from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification, — and the end is eternal life! For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:22-23 (HCSB)
For it is God’s will that you silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good. As God’s slaves, live as free people, but don’t use your freedom as a way to conceal evil. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the Emperor.
1 Peter 2:15-17 (HCSB)
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word,, you really are My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32 (HCSB)
