No Problem At All

No Problem At All

August 28th, 2019

I think the most common fear humanity in general has, is death. Ironically, it should be the least of our worries.

In the first place, disciples of Jesus are not to harbor fear. Fear is something that the devil tries to afflict us with. We have the most powerful force in the universe and there is nothing that is going to come at us that isn’t subject to His power.  Our fear of death (speaking collectively of the human race) is something that we shouldn’t be concerned about in the least.

Jesus defeated death. He established that His power was by far superior to death. It was this Jesus that told us that we are not to worry about things.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

Instead of worrying we should be praying.

Next time you find yourself troubled about something, why don’t you pray about it. I’m not talking about “Lord help!” prayers. Lay your heart out to God, explain the situation, tell him how you feel. Let him know where fear is creeping in and how dependent you are on Him and His power in your life. Surrender to the outcome and place your faith and trust in Him for the situation.

Keep praying till you turn the tide in your battle with Satan! That’s right, you will be in a battle with the devil when you feel that twinge of fear welling up inside you. That does not come from God! If God isn’t taking credit for it you can bet who is at the heart of the matter, and it isn’t one of God’s angels… It’s the one who was one of God’s angels and decided that since God had made him so powerful, he could outdo God.

Satan cannot best God on any front. That battle is taking place when there is fear in our hearts because the Spirit of God is trying to beat it back, but if we insist on leaving the door open then we expose ourselves to the beating we are taking.

Slam that door shut and lock out the devil with prayer, because if we resist the devil he will run away!

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7 (NLT)

When he’s gone, so will the fear and what seemed like it was an insurmountable catastrophe will prove out to be “No Problem At All!

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.”

John 14:1 (NLT)

Your big brother Jesus isn’t going to let you down. He’s always there and wants you to trust in him as you should trust in God the Father. Remember, “Our Father in heaven” (Matt 6:9a). Jesus taught us to pray like this, OUR Father. Not Jesus’ papa, Abba Father!

You Christian, are born of God!

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

John 1:12-13 (NLT)

We have a Father like no other. Kinship with the Almighty as a result of the compassion of His Son Jesus who gave His life willingly to redeem us from the darkness of sin. So that we might be raised with Him to new life.

Our big brother Jesus, who with a word commands worlds into existence. We have nothing to fear, because we are adopted into the family of God Himself. And no one will pluck us out of His hand.

Not now, not tomorrow, not ever; we are his forever more!

So regarding worries, there is no cause for concern; it’s “No Problem At All”.

In His Grace!
